Beautiful purple tea light holder, candle holder lantern, votive. Table centre piece.
This piece was thrown on the wheel and then carved with an organic fluid design before being allowed to fully dry. It takes several hours to do this, and clean up the edges. It comes with a matching ceramic tray to stand it on.
Its then been bisque fired to 1000deg c.
I then apply the glaze, which is done in several glazes and multiple layers to achieve this gorgeous purple. It then gets fired to approx 1180deg c. This makes it very tough.
